Naturally our concern for health and safety extends to that of the animals we supply. All animals are worked in accordance with current legislation and any licensing, permits or movement orders are completed as necessary. The same applies to animal caging and transportation, which always conform to national or international regulations. Veterinary surgeons can also be supplied on set should the type of animal or nature of the action require it.
Health and safety is an important factor of any production and one that we take very seriously. Every job receives full attention to health and safety matters pertaining to animals and their effect on crew, cast and studio audience.
We routinely evaluate the threat posed by animals to humans prior to a shoot. Risk assessments are supplied with each animal, from obvious creatures such as venomous snakes, to seemingly harmless ones like fish, which can in fact transmit potentially fatal aeromonas. Risk assessment enables us to identify risks a production should be aware of, and establish the best course of action to manage those risks safely without compromising the animal action.
Happy, relaxed animals are a reflection of the humane training and shooting methods we employ. Such methods serve to get the best out of an animal while ensuring their welfare is guaranteed.
Our attention to detail in all things, including health and safety of people and animals, offers peace of mind and allows you to focus on the real business of making your production a success.
